In 1909 aircraft manufacturers Short Bros, constructed the first factory on the world to manufacture aircrafts.
The first flight in Britain by a British aviator took place at Leysdown.
The first circular mile was flown in an aircraft built by Short Bros and flown by British Aviator Claude More-Brabazon.
Icarus II - First pig in the world to fly.
Links with the famous pioneer aviators the Wright Brother of America.
